Ceremony to swear in to become a US Citizen???

After you pass your citizen test, how long does it take for you to receive the letter to attend the ceremony to swear in?? and can you change the date of the ceremony if you can not attend that specific date?

It takes a week to get the letter and the ceremony is usually after a month on the last Friday. Yes u can have it extended to the next month , but no longer than three months i think. But do let them know right away that u cant make that appointment otherwise it is taken as you forfeiting your citizenship.

Depending on what state you live in- I know in California it is a long process because there are so many people. But in other states maybe a month or two. As far as rescheduling- not sure…. I would imagine they may give you some dates to work with.
