The ballroom boasted a 1,200-square-foot dance floor and a 12-piece orchestra, along with a salsa band and dance exhibitions. WNPR radio host Faith Middleton emceed the party, which also included the auction of an Obama portrait by Connecticut artist Tony Falcone. About 1,200 people were expected to attend the event.
